Rajasthan overview

Rajasthan Travel Guide
Rajasthan is India’s biggest state. It is probably the place to visit for those who want to tell their friends they travelled through the real India without being accosted by too many lepers or spending prolonged periods wondering how one small vegetable samosa could really cause so much misery. It is truly gorgeous and itineraries are likely to be packed with visits to the many luxurious palaces of the Raj which are dotted about the countryside. The city of Udaipur with its colourful markets is a must see and now has cash points which accept most international cards so that travellers can buy never to be worn again tie-dye clothes. Rajasthan is the land of princes and for those short on time travelling on board the Palace on Wheels is an excellent idea. Camels are also a marvelous way to see the deserts and the wetlands of this vibrant state for those who care less about comfort.
